Blazing inferno engulfs Auckland coolstore - from the Herald. Check out the photos - that tower of smoke could be seen from a long way off. Fire crews came from Hamilton and Rotorua to help, and they'll be working there for days yet.

I forgot to check. I did cycle past the "crime scene" of the homeless person who feel to their death in the city yesterday (for my daily rubber-necking) - thought it didn't really look quite right - more like a group of businessmen cordoned off by the police (there were some guys in suits).
