I watched Captain America: The First Avenger and Captain America: The Winter Soldier back to back tonight, as part of my Marvel movie binge. Two main thoughts sticking:

Bucky needs a hug. The Winter Soldier problem would have been mostly solved with more Steve/Bucky hugs.

The Black Widow's hair goes wavy when wet. After showering at The Falcon's house, how did she get hold of a hair straightener? He has a military haircut and appears to live alone; I don't think he had one to lend her.

I figure as part of her training, Natasha knows all sorts of 'home remedies' for disguise purposes.

I think she went with Vinegar as the one mentioned that didn't require a lot of time, or ingredients Sam probably wouldn't have. Even a guy who lives alone might have a bottle of vinegar (bought to make salad dressing to impress a date, and then forgot about, most likely).

Oh yeah, she definitely has ALL THE SKILLS and why wouldn't that include disguise stuff?

I think my trouble is that I like her bouncy wavy hair in the Avengers movie much better and that's something it appears to do more or less naturally, so I don't see why she's going to the bother of doing a lot of time-consuming stuff to her hair while she's on the run in fear of her life when it doesn't even look nice.

*nods* The vinegar is quick, which is why I thought it possible.

After washing your hair, add a few drops of vinegar in water-filled mug and rinse your strands with this water. Finally rinse with clean water. This will make your strands straight, adding an extra sleeky shine.

I liked her hairstyle best in Iron Man, when she was playing 'someone from legal'. :^)
