NaArMaMo: the rest of it

Here are the rest of the things I drew for Art Month this year: not that many pictures behind the cut :(

Day 18: Cats! I now have Artrage, the NZ-made computer drawing and painting program, and tried painting things with it... but I'm better at drawing than painting, so I like the chalk effect best.

Day 19: also Artrage chalks, a warrior with a huge sword.

Day 22: a small green dragon, or dagon as I called it in the image name while low on sleep.

Day 23: a pictorial representation of insomnia, drawn in the small hours when I hadn't been able to sleep for several nights in a row.

Day 27: a superhero flies to the rescue!

A dinosaur made of squiggles.

I tried to draw a house but it wasn't very good so I cropped it down to just the bit with the bicycle and gumboots.
This year was a bit of a write-off. I started reasonably well but then got sick and felt too rotten to do much art for a few days, and once I was more or less recovered I kept drawing things and forgetting to put the date on them and never getting around to scanning them, so I don't even know which days I missed. Then I got Artrage and had a sudden creative spurt, but it didn't last, and most of my experiments with it weren't really things I wanted to show people. I had an episode of insomnia which threw me off stride badly. My camera has some photos on it which I haven't got around to offloading and sorting through. All in all it hasn't been great. Oh well, at least I drew some things.
It all looked heaps of fun and I loved the art I saw. I didn't even look at a lot of the art posts, let along comment on them, and I'm sorry about that.
