This kitten purrs like he's about to throw a bearing. He purrs louder than any kitty I've met, by weight. He purrs so hard he hiccups. It's so cute I can't stand it.

In other adorableness updates, these kits think any door opened by the humans always leads to a magical land of crinkly things and furniture to climb on, with chances of food. They've developed an interest in the really big room with the grass and wind and stuff and it's especially exciting since it's forbidden. And despite immediate punishment by water every time they get in they're still fascinated by that door in the bathroom... the one the humans go through to get clean!

You mean the rain box? Our cats don't understand why we like that, and also suspect that we're responsible for the falling liquid outside, going by the outraged looks and meows when they get caught in it.

Other cats I've had have been horrified that we get ourselves wet on purpose, and look on most disapprovingly. These guys are just obsessed with finding out what's in there and drinking from the puddle! Being inside cats they haven't experienced the horrors of rain first-hand yet.

I do love having them around! They're not mine -- I foster kittens for the SPCA until they're old enough for adoption, then say goodbye and get another load to look after. I've had these two (with mum, until they were weaned) since they were a week old, so it will be hard to part with them.

About three months, just about old enough to leave me for their new homes... and old enough to climb everything and run around all day without getting sleepy! They're lovely.

I love that everyone has a cat icon! Mine's technically a Cat, but maybe I will look through some kitty photos and make myself a new one.
