Front door handles ought to work for several years at a time without needing servicing, generally speaking, in my personal opinion. Not lock people into the house in the morning when they're trying to get to work.

Currently am watching the first series of Blackadder. Rowan Atkinson is actually riding that horse, not just holding onto the saddle while a horse handler gives signals from off camera. And he looks perfectly competent riding sidesaddle too!

I do not think BRIAN BLESSED actually grew those teeth himself.

I don't trust door handles - that's why I just make "swoosh" sounds.

OH the first season of Blackadder - I'm sort of ho-hum on that one. The show hadn't quite got its bearings at that point. Still, I expect it has its moments (it has been a while since I've watched that series).

(To preempt possible thoughts, as a film, it had it's moments)

It's not as good as later ones, for sure. On the other hand, BRIAN BLESSED! And to start with Edmund was dim and Baldrick was clever which made him even more adorable than nitwit Baldrick. I'm watching the first series right through just in case I'm missing out on something important.
