I'm watching live helicopter footage of a tsunami engulfing Miyagi Prefecture after the huge earthquake in Japan. You can see cars trying to outrun the water. :(

Thousands of people must be dying. This makes the Christchurch earthquake look like nothing at all.

You know, I was thinking, as I was hearing the news, that during my childhood, I barely ever heard of an earthquake happening, except in grade C movies... I mean, you knew they were real. But they were rare.

Ever since the Indonesian Tsunami, five years ago, we seem to be getting at least one, sometimes two or three a year.

It's like the Earth is cracking all her joints at once, or something.

It is sad, and scary. Especially since it hit in the middle of the night.

I have seen that disaster on the internet news too. It is a horrible tragedy!
They warn against a tsunami in many places, even very distant ones.
I hope no one here was caughed in it!!!!!
Poor people in Japan...unspeakable...
